We recommend rigging our Sicario Lures with the following jighead sizes for best results:
Sicario 100mm / 4" : 3/0 - 4/0
Sicario / Bloodhawk 125mm / 5": 4/0 - 6/0
Sicario 175mm / 7": 7/0 - 8/0 and/or Osprey Harness (Small)
Sicario 225mm / 9": 9/0 - 11/0 and/or Osprey Harness (Med)
Sicario 275mm / 11": Osprey Harness (Large)
Choose weight according to the prevailing depth and current of the location.
For shallow flats fishing the lures can be rigged unweighted with our Osprey Harness rigging system, and this setup is deadly for chasing jumbo flathead and other shallow water predators.
TT, Nitro and BKK branded jigheads in the above sizes all have performed well for us.
